Who operates this website?

This website is owned and operated by Crocodile Leisure Ltd on behalf of individual Owners of apartments in Bansko Royal Towers. Crocodile Leisure Ltd is a UK based company with its offices at Beechdown Park, Winchester Rd, Basingstoke, RG22 4ES.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

When do I pay for my reservation?

Payment is made at the time of booking. We do not offer credit or accept delayed payments.

Can I amend my booking?

Yes, there is a 25 Euro administration fee for amendments to bookings. Arrival / Departure dates may be amended up to 14 days before arrival providing we have accommodation available. Note that increased tariff may be payable due to any seasonal variation. Rates for the revised accommodation may vary from the initial booking.

Can I have a refund if I am unable to travel?

Refunds can only be given if notification is received within 48hours of booking. See below. After this time, we are unable to give refunds.

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?

Cancelllations within 48 hours of booking will qualify for a 90% refund. Cancellations received before 14 days of arrival will receive a 50% refund in the form of a credit note. This credit note will remain valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Cancellations after this time are not accepted..

MONEY

What currency do they use in Bulgaria?

Local money is lev. There are 2 leva to each euro. Lev is often written as BGN.

Do I take travellers cheques with me?

It is far easier to use your ATM card and withdraw local money from the ‘hole in the wall’ as you need it. There are many ATM machines including one next to Reception at Bansko Royal Towers and another by the Gondola base 200 metres away.

RESERVATION PROCESS

How can I reserve two apartments close together?

If you navigate to the ‘Room Guide’ page you will see details of each apartment. Simply choose apartments that are in the same block and, if possible, on the same floor.

ACCOMMODATION IN BANSKO ROYAL TOWERS

What accommodation is there?

There are approximately 200 apartments in Bansko Royal Towers. Studio apartments, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments.

What is provided in each apartment?

Furniture, TV, bed lined and towels are all provided. The kitchens are all fully equipped and have cooking facilities including a microwave oven.

SKI LIFTS AND GONDOLA

How far away is the Gondola?

200 metres. From Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4 and main Reception it is only a 3 minute walk to the main Gondola.

Where can I hire skis?

There are many places to hire skis and snowboards. There is a Ski Shop in Bansko Royal Towers, next to Reception. You can hire also all your equipment in advance from this website and it will be ready for you on arrival.

Where can I buy Lift Tickets?

If you hire skis from this website, you can also buy lift tickets at the same time. Alternatively, there are kiosks at the Gondola where you can buy tickets for the following day up to 18.00 hours most days.

TRAVEL

How do I get from Sofia Airport to Bansko Royal Towers?

Sofia is 95 kms (57 miles) from Bansko. There are buses and trains, but they are infrequent. You can hire a car. However, the best way is to arrange a transfer by a specialist company like Traventuria. Transfers from Sofia Airport to Bansko Royal Towers cost from €140 return for up to three people. The taxi will collect you from the airport terminal, take you to Bansko and collect you at the end of your holiday.

ARRIVAL

Where do I get the keys from?

You will be met at Reception by our local Managers. They will take you to your apartment, show you around and answer any questions about Bansko.

FOOD AND DRINK

Is Breakfast included?

No meals are included. Breakfast can be bought from one of the restaurants within Bansko Royal Towers for around 8BGN (4 euros). Most people buy food from one of the local supermarkets and have breakfast in the apartment.
